For their first show, Nice Daki Daya TV chose to highlight the Crossover Festival by organising an evening inspired by the Boiler Room series including guests such as Panda Events. The evening will take place in two parts, during the first hour that plays the DJ from Nice, Holly House, followed by a second one in which one of the Crossover headliners will take over the turntables. The Daki Daya TV team is also awaiting confirmation of DJ Nu.
For Alban, Olivier, and Yannick and Ahmed, partners and creators of the project, the main objective is to « provide visibility for the local economy by using major events. » Olivier will help out with a location for the special occasion as he will lend his apartment that will be converted into a studio: « There will be two cameras on the DJ, a guy who walks around with his camera in the apartment to capture the mood, as well as two other fixed cameras. We are, of course, inspired by the Boiler Room model. »
On this evening, designed as a co-working project, the leading actors of the night life in Nice will be presented. The professionals will be treated royally by a local caterer. A clothing shop and a decoration store will also be part of the party, also in the perspective of working together with others. The evening will be broadcasted via streaming on Youtube, Dailymotion, the channel’s website and Facebook. « We also want to tell bars to spread the show on their screens to make people want to go to Crossover. »
But the TV channel has bigger expectations: « We would like to settle at all major cities, to relate big events and the local economy. We want to bring something sexy and relevant to live, share playlists of DJs, show Podcasts and so on. »
